Six companies from Sant Cugat had a prominent presence at the Welcome IT Day organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona in collaboration with Barcelona City Council.
Last November 15th, the Fàbrica Damm in Barcelona was the venue for Welcome IT Day, an event organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona with the support of the Barcelona City Council. The aim of this initiative is to connect young international talent with some of the leading technology companies, with the aim of consolidating the digital ecosystem and encouraging students to develop their professional careers in the region.
The event, aimed at bachelor’s and master’s degree students who have not yet completed their studies, included activities such as meetings with company representatives and networking spaces, offering a privileged view of the dynamism of the tech sector.
Sant Cugat has played a prominent role thanks to the participation of six companies with great projection: HP, Boehringer, GFT IT Consulting, Fluidra, Roche, and Oxigen Data Center. All of them are part of the Barcelona Innovation Valley Alliance (BIVA), an initiative that promotes collaboration between companies, institutions, and other key players to strengthen the entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem of the city and its area of influence.
The involvement of Sant Cugat companies in projects such as Welcome IT Day reinforces Sant Cugat’s position as an international benchmark in innovation.
A day that inspires young talent to connect with the future of the technology sector!
