Participation in European Projects
The city is a key partner in high-level European programs such as Interreg HEALTH CITIES, focused on life sciences and medical technology, where Sant Cugat leads joint work with nine European cities. It has also participated in projects like SunHorizon, BD4NRG, Geofit, and Save the Homes, enabling it to act as a pilot city in energy transition, digitalization, and sustainability.
Who promotes the Innovation Alliance
The alliance is made up of local and regional public bodies, global innovation centers from different sectors, business associations, and universities and technology and science centers in the region.
