Sant Cugat participates in the Interreg Europe Training Days in Lille

The Sant Cugat City Council, through its Business, Innovation and Internationalisation Service, took part last week in the Project Training Days 2025, organised by the Interreg Europe programme in Lille (France).

Over the course of three working days, representatives from cities and regions across Europe shared experiences and knowledge to improve the management and impact of European projects. The aim was to strengthen the technical capacities of the participating teams and promote more effective strategies at the local level.

The technicians from the Business Service, responsible for managing the European project Health Cities, attended the sessions on behalf of Sant Cugat. The first working session included a hands-on group workshop that became a key space for exchanging ideas and building synergies among the different European partners.

This participation reaffirmed Sant Cugat’s commitment to European cooperation and to innovation as a driving force for local development.

The Health Cities project is part of the Interreg Europe 2021–2027 programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The main objective of this programme is to improve regional public policies through cooperation and the exchange of experiences among European regions.
Interreg Europe supports initiatives that contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, and fosters collaboration between public authorities, research centres and businesses to address shared challenges.
