BIVA, the Sant Cugat del Vallès Innovation Alliance, a talent driver

Sant Cugat del Vallès has a constantly growing entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem, and one of the key elements for its promotion is the Sant Cugat del Vallès Innovation Alliance. This local action instrument promotes collaboration between the City Council, the private sector, academia, and civil society, to create a dynamic and interconnected environment that favors entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development.

In this context, one of the most relevant strategic challenges is that of talent, which has become a central axis of the Sant Cugat City Council’s strategic plan.

This strategy is based on seven major pillars that encompass various initiatives. On the one hand, work is being done in the field of education and talent, with projects such as the Nexes Forum to promote educational debate and pedagogical innovation. International visibility and innovation also play a key role, participating in conferences that position Sant Cugat as a global talent hub. In addition, orientation and education actions are being developed for young people, such as the first Education Fair to be held this coming April 4 and 5, to guide students and families in their academic and professional careers. In parallel, the recruitment and retention of technological talent is being promoted with initiatives such as Talent Day, planned for next autumn, which connects young professionals with the business community.

Through this strategy, Sant Cugat del Vallès is consolidating itself as a hub of innovation and talent, generating a positive impact on both the business community and the quality of life of its citizens. The commitment to talent as a central axis of economic and social development allows us to strengthen the competitiveness of the territory and guarantee a sustainable future for new generations.
