Cristina Estavillo is Head of Print Firmware at HP, responsible for the development of the software integrated into all of the company’s printing devices worldwide. A telecommunications engineer with more than thirty years of experience, she leads a team of nearly 900 professionals across the globe.

In this interview, she highlights HP’s strategic commitment to Sant Cugat more than 40 years ago, driven by its location in Europe, strong international connectivity, the availability of talent, the presence of universities, and a solid business environment.

Cristina also emphasizes the need to give greater visibility to women in engineering and encourages young women to pursue careers in this field, which still has a low level of female representation.
